Want but can't has thread

Thanks mate. Gutted! :( This time last year it would have been perfect but I am now wearing 12/14 dress depending on the material and cut. Some fantastic dresses on that site though...I'll keep browsing and console myself with something else.

I've owned one of their dresses (was from a while ago though mind) It's pretty good quality. Anyway, I quite like that the range that the dress is part of is designed for women with large norks.

Even though I have lost weight my norks are still big enough and I like V necks... NOT FAIR!

V necks are very flattering. I guess since a lot of the dresses in the range have a wrap/cross over front there is less chance of mega gapage due to who they are designed for. Sick of wearing a stupid camisole under everything

It is tk maxx. :D I bought a sparkly nail varnish for £3 instead.

Shit that's a lot for in there!!

I have never posted on this thread before, because I have terrible impulse control and buy almost everything I want.

But... I think it'll be too long. And unforgiving of my gut. But I want it so very, very much.

Sometimes, when I really want something but know it'll be wrong for me, I buy it anyway then send it back. It's a bit depressing but it satisfies the 'what if' thing and gets it out of my head.

I bought a silk skirt years ago for 60 quid, took it back and then later saw it for a fiver and bought it again. It looks fucking awful. [emoji1]

I never send things back.

I want to look like a fantasy film villain!

that, is FACKING gorgeous. I reckon it could be made by a mere mortal though....

e2a I'd start with a base of firm but bendy plastic, cut to shape and then covered with your basic fabric and glued. Further embellishments glued as necessary, can use metal wires kinda 'sewn in' if it looks like glue wouldn't suffice, hmmmmmm.......

She's been photoshopped to death, though - I bet it's not so nice IRL on her.
nah - that's georgina horne - she's wearing lots of support undies, but that is her shape. she's tall, though. she designed the dress herself (plus the blue one that such was wanting a while back) - and she's explicitly done it for taller women, like herself.

:hmm: is it spendy? I don't look good in red and am skint so don't know why I'm asking.

Fwiw i think you'd look gorgeous in it.
