Valley of Tears - More Four drama series about the 1973 Yom-Kippur war

Watched the first two episodes last night. Seemed very good to that point. I must say I hadn't know about the Israeli civil rights Black Panthers . And whilst intellectually knowing the war took place in 1973 some of the cultural references are a bit jolting.

There's a second series apparently, focusing on the fighting in the south (first series is set in the Golan Heights).

Saw this a while ago, it’s an Israeli TV series and nothing to do with Channel 4 who must’ve just gotten hold of it.

For the tank battles they used actual tanks from the war with reconditioned engines.
