My guess is that urban75 is overwhelmingly populated by people that live in the south of the UK but let's see.

They may be people south of the latitude you chose, but not in the UK. We won’t know unless you ask that too. Also by placing the poll in UK Politics you may have weighted the sample.

Really, you need to get this thread into General and add longitude options.

I am not sure if live "in" the UK. The UK is the name of a state. I live on a piece of land over which that state has sovereignty. I live on the land claimed by the UK, not in it. I am not a mole.

Be interesting to see the statistics (kabbes ?) around urban membership, residence in upland Vs lowland, growing up in upland Vs lowland, and stuff like education and profession..

Not so much about the economics of upland Vs lowland, but more about migration and economics.

Think there's a few standard definitions geographers and demographers use.
Theoretically simple here because household registrations are one or the other, but in reality you might be urban in a bumfuck county town and technically rural in the highly developed hinterland of one of the megalopolises.
