Universal credit - Household income under 30k

Wondering if anyone had any experience of this as working tax credits are now under UC.

When I looked into this before we were not entitled as our household income was to much despite us both being on pretty much minimum wage.

Unfortunately partner can't work at the moment and I think I've read on MSE and after doing a benefit calculator that potentially I can apply for UC? I currently earn around £20k. Partner is on UC - Limited capability to work and low mobility.

I think I've probably read it wrong, but the turn 2 us site seems to think I can claim UC and old Martin Lewis was banging on about it in his latest email so thought I'd check it out. 10-minute benefits check

I just started applying a minute ago but remembered I am not at home so don't have my details, and I should be sleeping. So asking urban seems mildly productive.

Ah, it's probable you will get something then but I'm not sure how much, it depends on your housing costs and whether there's any kids at home.
Thanks! No kids. I'll look into it a bit more and just put a claim in anyway to see what comes back.
