Loved this when I was a kid. Any more UFO fans out there?

Oh yes.. Purple nylon wigs for the birds, woven vests for the Interceptor pilots, the lot

As a kid I had my dinky SHADO Interceptor and Mobile too. Lost all the missles within days, but there you go. They'd be worth a few bob now if I'd never played with them

Excellent series for its time. A Gerry Anderson job if I recall.

The futuristic, gull-winged cars driven by the Ed Straker and Paul Foster characters were originally built for the Anderson movie Doppleganger (later re-named Journey to the Far Side of the Sun).

I posted a thread when both Ed Bishop and Michael Billington died, within a week of each other last year. It got no replies. I was very pissed

loved it. used to have one of these. the roof was normal but flipped over when you moved the silver catch on the corner
