I saw something nasty in the woodshed!
My boyfriend used to be taken to a salt beef bar in London when he was a child, early teenager (60s/70s). He is unsure of his age at the time. They used to live in Ealing and also in Cricklewood.
He remembers that the bar/shop had two large cartoons on the walls; one depicted army (possibly American) launching salt beef sandwiches.
Apparently, they also used to serve a nice lemon tea.
I know this is rather vague but the pictures really should have been quite unique. Does anyone know where this might have been?
