The strange face at Vauxhall railway station

So I saw this woman smiling at me on the train at the station. And she kept on smiling.

In an attempt to introduce some suspense into the story (sorry!), click here to find out what the heck was going on!

Actually, maybe I should go for the full clickbait experience and change the title to: YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT.

You live round here Editor? I'm staying at the Vauxhall travelodge all week. Any pub recommendations? Decent beer, doesn't mind the odd bloke drinking alone!

why not try the albert, two stops on the victoria line, turn left out of brixton station then left at the kfc and it's on your left after about a minute.

there will be many odd blokes in there, some of them drinking on their own.

Thanks. Might give it a go tomorrow. Looking a bit more local today. Black Dog looks possible.

Ive always fancied a trip to The Vauxhall Tavern but still haven't got round to it. What about just accross the river, turn right towards the Tate and a few steps down is the Morpeth Arms; gently lively place and Youngs to boot.

Walked past the Vauxhall Tavern. Read reviews about it being a great gay pub. Which is fine, but maybe not the best place for a bloke on his own to have a quiet pint.

Went to the Vauxhall Griffin a couple of times. Which was a great pub with interesting beer and good for a quiet pint. Had a chat with a local who reminded me it was a 'sarf landan pub' and they'd sort out any 'charlies camin' in here, givin' it all that'. Which was a good tip.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking your thread a bit Editor. Just saw a thread about Vauxhall when I was there for a week. Now back in the simmering metropolis of Bristol.
