Gandolfini son cast in Sopranos prequel



Michael Gandolfini is to play Tony Soprano in the new prequel.
He is the image of his dad and hopefully he's as good an actor as his dad.

Somehow, I think they've a mammoth task filling the shoes of the original series. It was so brilliant.

They had young Livia in an episode once. The one where Tony realises his dad is a mobster. She was completely mad when she was young too.

You're right, when they had flashbacks to Johnny Boy's days. I think that might be the one where Meadow convinces a naive AJ that their father might not be only a highly successful waste disposal expert.

I love the episode where they actually have to do waste disposal and end up dumping a load of asbestos on the beach.

The story is being told from the perspective of Christopher's father.

Meadow's in goal and the coach is shouting "Red 42...push 42!" Silvio goes on the pitch and threatens the ref. Too cringey...the whole football match.

according to tony soprano, in flashbacks. tony soprano has proven to be an unreliable witness so it will be interesting to see if she is as bad as tony made out.
im hoping it shows her in a better light and tony as a no good kid taking after his no good dad and blaming it all on his mother.

interesting that the character in many saints looks a bit like carmela.
