Bring back hanging
Few bits of feet and stuff lying around around 3 minute mark - nothing too bad.
Very concentrated airstrikes + YPG/YPJ advance today in west kobane forced isis to retreat 3 miles.
Before:
After:
Just to go back to those pics - they are not as i thought the hill in the west in the village the YPG/YPJ took - but i.e Mishtenur in the east, where ISIS is still in control, so the 2nd pic is fake, but the third is actually from the village and hill in the west (Tall Shair ).what is carved into that hill? it looks like it says new rct or new rgt. what's that about?
Hmm, why do you think hold the record of the most 'ignored' poster on here?
Pain? Don't make me larf, in the pain stakes your more of a lightweight than a feather duster.
And none of the ones in Istanbul directly attributed to the PKK.
I wasn't aware that he was a believer.....but that explains a lot and is verging on some very dark politics.
They seem very cheery for men who have been through what they have been through.
If Kobane somehow manages to come out of this victorious I wonder whether Turkey will suddenly decide that that is the best time to intervene.
Christ, when you listen to tweets etc, they only need a few decent AT, artillery pieces and they would tear IS a new arsehole, hate to say it but mebbes this is the case for a clinical insertion of specialised weaponry and SF?This one shows the probable lines after today:

so unless phildwyer's got some as yet unseen evidence i call bullshit on his claim to hate the pkk because of attacks in istanbul

At least on a small scale? they would have local support?
Turkey has shown it true colours in recent weeks and should be stripped of its NATO membership
No Nato membership no USA military aid?And now you show your true imperialist colors, calling for the punishment of nations that fail to do the West's bidding.
And even more pathetic than that: still believing that "stripping" Turkey of NATO membership would constitute a punishment.
No, no and no.
Today marks the end of a deadline imposed by Abdullah Ocalan. Things may kick off. I've been warned to stay away from crowded places (pretty impossible in Istanbul).

Buggerinhell, they seem awfully casual about it?A video tour through some retaken areas.
Yes yes, and bliddy yes.No, no and no.
Certainly won't be booking any Hols in Turkey, and I think, many others will be thinking the same, wonder what the foreign offices current alert is for Turkey?Today marks the end of a deadline imposed by Abdullah Ocalan. newroz - Kurdish new year surely?
Certainly won't be booking any Hols in Turkey, and I think, many others will be thinking the same, wonder what the foreign offices current alert is for Turkey?
Mainly the latter but I would certainly be giving the former serious consideration. There aren't alerts for anywhere other than border areas and warnings to avoid protests and certain areas of Istanbul and a few other cities. Not the whole cities. My Dad is coming soon (Bodrum, Izmir and Istanbul) and I am not concerned although I won't be going to Taksim with him. Do you mean you wouldn't book due to safety concerns, or because you disagree with the politics?
you're something of a hypocrite, unless you've forgotten the rational proof of god fiascoWhat possesses you to continually spout off on things about which you know absolutely nothing?

President George W Bush led the US into war in Iraq on the back of assertions that Saddam Hussein had recently-built weapons of mass destruction, supplies that had only increased in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks.
Yet all the chemical weapons found by soldiers were manufactured before 1991, the Times reported. They consisted largely of 155-millimeter artillery shells or 122-millimeter rockets – not designed for mass destruction, and produced in the 1980s during the Iran-Iraq war.
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the chemical weapons discovery is that many were reportedly kept near where they were built in compounds around the Muthanna State Establishment.
The region is now held by Isis – and this summer the Iraqi government said it had witnessed intruders looting the corroded equipment before their surveillance cameras were shut off.
