River Effra made a reappearance about 5.30

There was a sizable waterfall by the lido, which I thought I had a video of, but is sadly lost to history.

We'd just nipped into the Food Hall to get Stig a meal, and the Farmer's Union turned up!

Ended up with a series of springs in the tent.... and some verry happy food sellers!

We were all smug and comfy sitting in the food hall ( pictured above) listening to the downpour, when suddenly the Effra was apparently diverted through the marquee under all our arses, and the whole population stood as one.

Got drenched leaving. Walking behind a young lady whose dress had gone somewhat see though in the rain... then realised that a gaggle of leery old men were all peering over my shoulder. Yeuch! I told them all to get lost

it's the Vauxhall City Farm employees trying to get rid of a big puddle in the sagging tent (btw, that little girl was loving the downpour!)

They got there in the end though



and then one of them went outside to sort the outside out, and they dumped the rest of the water on her. You can barely see her through the amount of water coming down on top of her

I thought that as well, but they were labelled as llamas (although I only saw the two LLs of the notice, so I assume they were They'd been shaved, and looked silly. (I assume they'd been sheared, or they lose their fur in a very neat pattern )

I've just found out that alpaca wool doesn't contain lanolin, which is handy to know as I'm allergic to lanolin. Probably expensive though

Anyway, it was a packed show this year, although people seemed to be packing into the wrong places





Loads of seating space though



Didn't see any urbanites in the Village Green area



but the band kept playing (or maybe they were just watching the rain and sad that their audience had disappeared)
