I know the first series came out nearly a year ago but I never checked it out, thinking it’d be your typical Sci-Fy Channel style low budget crap. Last night we came across it on Amazon Prime and decided to give it a go. Boy, is it good. Very, very fucking good. Highly recommended if you can download it or have Amazon.

It's not bad. I'm on Season 2, which is a little different so far. Won't post any spoilers. The downside being that it's been in the Friday night deathslot since it started, so wasn't really expecting it to get picked up for another season and never really feel like fully committing to it because of it.

Watched about half the pilot last night, but my copy was so crap I couldn't finish it. Agree with OP that the quality of writing/acting/directing was much higher than expected.
