My ma-in-law said he reminded her of a bitch coming into season. I’m wondering if there’s extra wildlife about, or the recent windy weather fizzing him up a bit
He settles fine and calmly at night so I don’t think it’s physical discomfort

Stupid (but beautiful) Max and his stupid floppy spaniel ears have cost me £500 odd at the vets this week. He got a particularly nasty ear infection and although the antibiotics seemed to clear it up, he had to go back today to be sedated so the vet could flush out his ear. Poor baby! And poor me. Literally!

He’s got to go back next week for a checkup so it’s not ended yet! He’s totally worth it though.

) but he’s such a lovely old boy that he’s worth it! He’s 13 now! He’s got one more check up next week then hopefully he won’t have another infection for a while so I can save up again.
