The dog thread is better than the cat thread, because it features dogs.

I'm not so well at the moment so a friends just walked Kail to the vets for me so he can have his injections. He gets all the inoculations going plus a years worth flea and worming treatment and a check over from the vet. Usually costs £100 but just paid the bill and it was £155! Inflation is a prick.

Good job I love the bastard, even if he has taken to walking into the room, passing wind and then walking back out.

M-I-L has had a mild stroke and we’ve had her to stay for two weeks along with her puppy that has never had a walk (she has a large garden he runs in) and was not house-trained. Bugs the shit out of Pepper who’s now 8 and would rather chill than do puppy business.

Still Pepper has been kindly showing Koji The Way Of Dog and he’s coming on nicely. Just back from a long walk and they are now having a relax…

How i hate Monday mornings, out with pooch then Monday morning meetings, listening to agency workers moaning about their job, which they signed up to do, whilst taking home 1k a week, not to mention those sneaky bleeders moonlighting two jobs. Rough after the fams xmas dinner last night, nothing some fresh air and a brisk 3m walk wont cure. Comon Rox, lets shake a leg my darling.

The boys just went for their boosters and annual check up.
The vet was really pleased to see Beardies as they’re so rare now and gently encouraged breeding Humphrey as they’re endangered.
Mr Looby said someone stopped at traffic lights to tell him how gorgeous Humphrey was too. Poor Albert, he never gets a look in. 😄

Is anyone else weirdly proud when someone likes their dogs?

My favourite dog of all time (apart from Cosmo and Frankie of course) was a beardie - absolutely lovely, independent, funny, mischevious dog.

Saw someone with a Seluki the other day, they're magnificently elegant dogs which I remarked to the owner who said 'yes so I'm always being told - you're the sixth person to remark on that today :) '
