*The Archers thread

Were the kids in the back of the car, who were missing school for this special November rural holiday, six or sixteen?
Kate was remarkably incurious about Faith's claim to be an Ambridge native.
Why couldn't Chuck and Faith have slept in the yurt? They could have called it scamping.
Is this the last straw for Jakob to ditch Kate (and get to know Azra better, until her husband returns from sorting out the 'family business' in Pakistan  ) ?

So many questions I don't really care about. :(

Teens according to Ruth.

Just replayed it several times.
Sounds like she is saying six 'n' year olds.
More of a recording error than a continuity one IMO.

Give me this over any play shenanigans or Justin nonsense any day.

Jakob and Ruth are being utter arses. Although there isn't a chance in hell anyone would, a la Elizabeth, say 'fuck it, have my home for the week.

Might be half term in Borsetshire.
I don't want to listen again to see if she actually said they were missing school - perhaps my imagination supplied that.

ETA: I couldn't help myself. "I've got two six'n year olds in the back of the car. They're missing school for this..."

Why? Why in god's name, why any of it?

LOL LOL A fan registered the website:

You're probably reading this because you listen to The Archers.

On Sunday, 24th November 2024 the show first mentioned the domain BorsetshireBreaks.com.

However, the BBC HAD NOT registered this domain - so I did!

The storyline where the domain is mentioned appears to be about fake listings for booking holidays.

The 23rd to 30th of November 2024 is BBC Scam Safe Week, where there are shows and features about how to be aware of scams...

SO WHY DID THE BBC NOT REGISTER THIS DOMAIN?!

I'm a nice person and I'm not going to use it for anything nasty.

So who is paying for all the food and drink being provided in the barn?
How long before abused wife is back on Ruth's doorstep.
Will Eddie and Clarrie ever make it to America?
Will either of them even have a passport.

So many questions...
