Yes indeed. Rugby has always been a hard game, by its very nature. There seems to be more 'foul play' creeping in though, which is deplorable.
I enjoyed the game, and felt that Wales were a tad unlucky at times.
Not looking forward to tomorrow though, I fear Scotalnd are going to get humped... again!

Tbh I really worry about North given the number of concussions he has had over the last couple of years. I know he has medical advice etc but I am surprised he is still playing. I know he is relatively young but he has had a long career at international already and god knows what trouble he is storing up for the future.
Re the game , entertaining but niggle on both sides. Best moment of the game was Tipurics try, fucking great. That and Marlers "inspection" lol

That game was over after 60 minutes, surprised at how close the scoreline was. Pivac seems to be trying to make Wales play more like Scotland, which is a worry.
Might have to switch off from rugby over the next year or so for the sake of my mental health. I don't drink anymore and the nerves are killer.

In truth England probably had the rub of the green in decisions. Marler could/should have seen red st half time! I wonder why it wasn’t referred to TMO at half time when the footage clearly showed what he did.

Yeah. Quite unbelievable. My opinion of the man, which was already on life support, has just croaked its last. To excuse that level of thuggery and to suggest that the ref favoured Wales when there were at least two other no arm shoulder tackles to the head on Welsh players (Tuilagi on Biggar, not Liam as I said yesterday and Lawes on a prone AWJ) was astonishing. Some people are suggesting that Biggar and AWJ were deliberately targeted yesterday, which based on the evidence seems entirely feasible. Chuck in what was basically a sexual assault and which was shown on screens in the stadium and you've got at least one more red and possibly more, plus at least one more yellow, none of which were even pinged and your bleating about a sixteenth man begins to sound ever so slightly hollow. Jones is a fucking turd of a man.

Didn't see your question yesterday. Most of the commentators were calling it for what it was and saying that he should see red. The one, lone voice of batshit, cyclopean dissent was one Lawrence Dallaglio, who was burbling on about there being nothing in it and that a sending off was outrageously harsh and unjust

What was your opinion on whether it should have been a penalty try? In my understanding of the law you have to imagine the illegal tackle hadn’t taken place. If there was no tackle North reaches over the line!

From my understanding it has to be beyond reasonable doubt that a try would have been scored if the infringement hadn't taken place. I don't think it was - he may have scored if Tuilagi hadn't done his best impression of a scud missile but it was by no means certain and thus no penalty try.
The deliberate knock on by France against us in Cardiff the other week, however, was a nailed on penalty try.

Christ. Got the commentary from Rugby Pass for this game. The French are getting a red card (deserved) which the commentator is putting down to Mohammed Haous coming from a "ghetto" and having done prison time for burglary. I think it's pretty despicable to drag someones past out to explain their mistakes on the pitch, but spicing it up with racism is too far for me.

I lost respect for him after his comments when Italy confused the shit out of England by not contesting the ruck. (England asking what they should do about it and the referee saying "I'm not your coach, I'm the referee. It's not for me to work out your strategies'
). England were out-thought and Jones complaining that it wasn't rugby was just sour grapes.
