Tell me about Newton Abbot

If you're after a bit of seaside I'd head to Teignmouth rather than Torquay. It's only a brief but very lovely train ride away.

Cool. I'll have the car so might head to the beach on one of the evenings I'm there if the weather is nice.

Go to Brixham and have chips from the chippy on the quay next to the Crown and Anchor pub, they let you take them inside to eat, best chippy in the world!

ETA:its the best choppy i. The world vid it tastes awesome, not cos you can take them in pub!

It has a lovely racecourse where I once lost a lot of money. Next meeting is May 30th so I'd take the advice of 1927 and go to the pub and chippy in Brixham instead.

Is this becoming a thing? Sainsbury's tried to make me pay in Welshpool the other day. I was only using the fucking cash machine, was there less than two minutes. I drove off.

In Exeter we call it Newton Armpit.

Not much to recommend it really. Pretty much every town around it is nicer.
