"Surging Wealth Inequality Is A Happy Sign" says Forbes dickhead John Tamny

editor

hiraethified
What a fucking cunt.
The shame of socialism is that the wildly talented are restrained from profitably improving the lives of the people around them, and perhaps continents away
Crucial about all this is that the commercial seers who get the future right will grow stunningly rich for being right. The more convenient life is, the more unequal are the living. But as opposed to a sign of hardship, the happier truth is that life is truly cruel when the talented aren’t getting rich. That’s when we know that no one is devising ways to make our lives easier, cheaper, healthier, more productive, and everything else good. Life without rising inequality is very much like life would be with socialism.
Surging Wealth Inequality Is A Happy Sign That Life Is Becoming Much More Convenient

Is he suggesting that people only make things if they can make profit from it? I'm not sure that's entirely true, but I guess it feeds into the world they want.

No mention of how that wealth is created and the 1000's it's killed along the way.

Misread the title as 'Surging Welsh inequality...'

anyway, this inflammatory bullshit only exists in an attempt to get a few people to buy his new book.
So, yeah, what a cunt.

Have a listen to a bit on Amazon

I don't think it's attention-seeking in that sense of trying to create a fuss, I think it's just pandering to the "rich people who are beginning to feel a little queasy about inequality" market.

That should be all of them, if they have any sense. They need to ease back a little, or they're going to find themselves on the pointy end of a revolution.

What an ignorant chump. So inequality does exist between say the UK and Chad, but he thinks that's not enough wealth disparity for him so he wants as much as he can excuse as aspiring to wealth is great. His article reads like a childs, I don't think the US has any idea about socialism. He may well be a cunt.

That's what some of them are worried about.

And like kabbes seems to imply above, some just don't like the idea of a smaller and smaller coterie of people pulling further and further away from everyone else, while even those in the middle become increasingly alienated from both ends of the scale and from each other.

Of course they are, they’re rich. Doesn’t mean they’re not harmed by income inequality too. Look it up if you don’t believe me.

You can be harmed but still be okay.

But, assuming they are 'harmed' by the system they perpetuate, isn't that self-harm?
