I would like to add that I loved the spirit of the event:The anglo-italian friendship and co-operation which underpinned the whole thing, the friendliness of people, the amounts of trust and honesty (AFAIK everything lost on the beach was handed in and nothing got nicked), and the fact that women largely didn't get hassled.

Put it this way - there'll be more broken chairs this week - the basketball summer school will take care of that. They are also a zillion times more noisy than we were - we did keep our racket confined mainly to the beach. Little kids do not make for big profits at the bar either. No wonder they loved us - we drank /smoked the region dry. We got a glowing report. :)

Apart from the I don't know how many lighters I managed to lose in the sand! :eek: :D

Yep, I lost a bag with camera and stuff in it on the beach. It had been handed in and was under the decks. Thanks to whoever handed it in. :cool: :)

someone in my group managed to lose something everyday and everything got handed in. On the 1st night "RAAAHH" lost her bag with all her money, cards in and sure enough it was handed and recovered the next day. I left a coat with about 50 euros in on a chair near the bar for about 3 days and it didnt even move... if only everywhere was as honest as unsound mess heads like me wouldnt be so out of pocket all the time.

Just finished editing bits of footage from second week. (worra laugh). master is in the burner as i write. anyone interested in copies contact lee, roby, or enquire at the spike. should be available from monday.

I lost a sock and something pretty important to me.. Found the sock and the other was handed in ..

But for the academic year being so badly timed, September would be so appealing :D

I loved the variety of music being played over the week, from "this is the sound of the suburbs" (on a quiet beach in the Med) to gabba at four o'clock on a Monday morning – I've put the perpetrator's name on the files and hope this kind of sorry incident doesn't happen again ;)

Wish I'd been around for the Wurzels, though. They say that Hollis wants a bleedin' helicopter to get to his gigs now...

Your lilo blew out to sea on the morning after the second big Saturday night party. We watched it flip over in the wind and head to the horizon until it was a little orange speck.

Give Colonel Gadaffi a ring - he might have it - it went in that general direction.

We lost a Barbie football the same way. :(

Hi all

Steffan here (of the aussie steffan and jessie)

Just like to thank everone for a great time in italy and i will look foreward to doin it all again next year.

Also looking foreward to catching up with a whole heap of you either in london some time or if you want to come up to oxford for a few days there will be a place to stay at our house.

Spike........ we are really keen to get a copy of the dvd so i will figure out how to get in touch with yu.

Hey longjon

I was an awesome week wasn't it

It was good to get home and sleep in my own bed though.....but then as soon as i came back to work i wanted to be back in italy

Defenitely goin again next year.
Would be great to come down and hear yu play but i gottu save the cash for Glade.

I will be heading down there on the thursday arvo probably. What day will you be gettin there. If you are goin the same day and can catch a train to reading or something i can pick you up from there and give yu a lift (i wont drive in london).

Glade is goin to be another awesome weekend i reakon.

Steffan - did you arrive on the Tuesday and stay out all night? I think I talked to you very early on Wednesday morning after dancing in the sea - you were sat beside the fire? If it was you then I remember telling you that you'd have a good time - sounds like you did! :D

Hurrah! it is a finised. Ze DVD is now available fer you pleasure/enjoyment.
to get a copy you need to see lee/robi, lee dubversion or contact "the spike", if ye dinna ken where that is, ask around.

if you want the DVD destroyed then send a brown paper envelope full of readies through same channel immediatly.

I remember you. lol...........how could we possibly forget you. How is the knee. It was a bit of a horror flight home wasnt it. Are you goin to come along to glade in 2 weeks. I have just found out that they kept 1000 tickets back from the origonal sale and have released them yesterday . A huge kick up the arse for the ticket touts.

We will have to catch up at some stage. And the offer for you to crash at our place if you wanna come to oxford still stands.

Yeppas........that was me and the better half yu was talkin too. Any you were 100% right We had a fantastic time and we met heaps of really kewl people.
