Storyville: The Village That Fought Back

It's just finishing now on BBC4. An amateur documentary on a Palestinian village fighting against land encroachment by settlers and the Israeli state. People who can take your land and you can do nothing about it, people who can punch you and you can't punch back, soldiers who can shoot you and you can't retaliate, people who can come in the night and take your children...

I know it's all been said before but it's as well to witness it and never forget.

Caught the end of that last night - really moving, especially the 4 yr old asking his dad why he doesn't stab the soldiers. Fuuuuuuuck....

There have been some great Storyvilles lately, the one with the Serbian manager of the South Sudan footy team was amazing.
