I like the fact it's actually quite dark and messed up in places. rather like adventure time.

Its on cartoon network before Lego Nexus Knights, so I only ever get to watch the last few minutes of Steven Universe, when I watch set top recordings of it. Much too good for cartoon network.

It is one of my very favouritest things ever. I'm constantly amazed by how much it manages to get into an 11 minute episode. It's one of the most warm, thoughtful, heartfelt, intelligent, aware, beautiful things ever.

Garnet has long been my favourite gem, but I admit to loving them all and having lots of feels for Peridot at the moment. I haven't seen past ep 11 of S3 (Beach City Drift) yet.

The relationships are fascinating. Garnets whole deal. The way pearl feels about rose and how it relates to steven. All of Stevannie.

Oh man. I have so many mixed emotions about Rose. When you first start watching you're thinking she was this perfect ideal -- the wonderful mother figure who was strong and powerful and loving and caring and basically perfection. But god no. She actually had some pretty horrible things about her. And I LOVE that. And god. That episode where Pearl drops the mic. Fucking brutal perfection. And an exceptional bookend for the Mr Greg episode. Pearl's a fantastic character. They all are! I could do without some of the filler episodes tbh... they're all pretty good but I get a bit anxious to get back to the good stuff!

I've heard little bits and bobs about the past few episodes -- I'm going to try to watch them tonight, or some at least.
