As for carnival, I'm not working that weekend but we'll have just got back from Glastonbury so I'm not making any firm plans....

Yeah will be there this year. Didn't make it last year. We'll probably stick to one rig when its peak busy time as I nearly spoiled it one year by not settling anywhere. Hopefully Unknown will be out again. Will definitely be up for saying hi.

Good as i'll need to know where the good rigs are! But also would be great to meet you

We'd love to return to this -- the previous time we were able to get to Bristol for it (2016? ) we had a fantastic time with utterly brilliant sounds. It was the first time we'd been ... and we managed to find a stall with the nicest ital food I'd had, also a fair few Dragon Stouts from a shop
I used to get to Notting Hill annually, years ago .... but I found that St. Pauls was far better

Sadly we can't make it this time . We'll scarcely have the energy that weekend to get to Hereford for their utterly different beer festival , which is about the maximum level of post-Glastonbury chillout we'll be able to achieve

Have a ton of fun though everybody

Definitely going! Will probably be at Negus Melody a lot again this year - spent most of last year there (and most all previous years I've been) and it was ace. Though I have a friend who is supposed to be playing some heavy jungle on a rig somewhere which I'll probably be checking out too!

Last year Negus was just behind where it used to be - used to be in William St and was in the little park at Winkworth Place. Will post up here/ let you know when I hear about the jungle

I pledged enough for a st paul's t-shirt on their crowdfunder. Hope there's more pledges closer to the event! Texted in donations the last few times it's been on - I really hope it carries on for years to come.

Did the stages end at 10pm last year? Thought it was 11.

Hope the Police arent as keen closing the renegade stages in peoples gardens down like last year and clearing the area when the carnival officially ends. bit of a buzzkill really!

Yeah it was 10 last year. I saw police heavy-handedly trying to shut down such a system last year.

Definitely up for dropping down. That time might be a slight problem as I believe our friend is playing the Unknown rig then. Keen to make it though.
