Following the origins of the group through the energy of the 60's, creativity of the 70's, and construction in the 80's to the actual 'mission'.

... Completely batshit but they really put a lot of effort in!

I remember it being shown on Newsround or Blue Peter when they were sealed in.

I watched this yesterday too, interesting documentary but I would of liked to have been told more details of the science behind how they proposed it would work and why they think it failed, ie did they need more plants to use up the CO2 or were there not enough nutrients being recycled for the plants to thrive.

Yes I thought it was a little unbalanced - lots about their history and origins and then a little rushed through when it came to the actual experiment.

It did look lush though ... Even if they looked absolutely awful in their starved and hypoxic state.

And I didn't really understand the co2 burner controversy.
