South Korea vs Germany (Group F) - 15:00 - 27/06/2018

R.I.P.
Interesting group this. Even South Korea can qualify despite being bottom with 0 points. Am hoping that they beat Germany but the odds are not in their favour :(
Germany will qualify if they win by two or more clear goals.

If both Germany and Sweden draw their games, then the team in the higher-scoring game will finish second. If the matches finish with the same score, then Germany will finish second because they beat Sweden.

South Korea can qualify if they beat Germany and Sweden lose, and finish with a better goal difference than those two teams.

Ulrich Voigt and Georg Behlau appeared to taunt the Swedish bench and have been suspended by the German FA (DFB) for their final group game.

Fifa's disciplinary committee opened proceedings against Voigt, Germany's media co-ordinator, and Behlau, head of their backroom staff.

But the DFB have said they will not have access to the pitch during Wednesday's game against South Korea.
Good

I'm hoping Germany and Sweden both win 1-0. Then there is a 3-way tie on 6 points but Germany and Sweden go through on goals scored (excl vs S.Korea) and I think Germany would even win the group.

It is a fairly amazing situation where Germany could win, but go out, or lose and go through. I suspect neither will happen tho, and the Germans will go through in second place

Woah, missed this!

Midfielder Sebastian Rudy has been ruled out after having an a minor operation on his nose after he fractured it against Sweden.

Based on my hugely insightful punditry on the England game, I can predict that South Korea are going to get stuffed.
