Yes, it's still called the Paxton. I'll be there from about 6:30, I reckon.

I can't tag everyone, so I have just tagged the maybes, in the hope that they all be able to join us :)

What time will people be getting to the Paxton? I am aiming to be there for 6:30, and will see if I can get one of the biggish tables slightly down the stairs towards the back garden.

If anyone is going straight to the Indian Dining Club, we have the club room booked from 7:30. It's downstairs from the main restaurant.
 
I have emailed the restaurant and told them that some people may turn up looking for a booking for "Urban75", because not everyone who is coming directly to the restaurant will know my name...
 
Definitely coming but have to wait for gaijinboy to get home first. I've told him to come as early as possible but couldn't put a definite time on it. So may or may not make the pub.

I would be surprised if we had ordered before 8. I reckon we will still be trying to work out who is sitting where, and what we want to drink :)

I booked it by email, so it has got my name attached to it. Rather than putting my name on a thread to which the world has access, I have gone for the option of revealing ourselves to the restaurant.

I wonder if he will google it beforehand, and come up with some weird impression of us all, as happened on the only occasion I went anywhere with urbanites!

Hate to be a pedant (actually, I rarely "hate" being a pedant...) , but the pub is over the road if you are coming from the station :)

It will, however, be directly in front of you as you walk down the hill, with a zebra crossing right in front.
