Hi - didn't see that tag weirdly. At present I just can't commit till the night itself, so probably safer if I say I'm not coming.

Since there are so many, I am thinking that it might be most efficient if we all ordered in advance - I will ask the restaurant, but what do people think? Is it too much hassle to get everyone's orders in?

Without crispy's on-line ordering system it would be a hassle, I think.

I'm going to let them know the numbers a day or two before, but I don't suppose it'd be a problem if it's different on the night by one or two either way.

I don't think I've got the energy or time to be nagging to get orders out of everyone, so I'm hoping they won't ask for that!

We have the downstairs "club" room booked, which holds 25, according to the website. I have told them that we are around 20 give or take a few.

Just realised that the Beer Rebellion has reopened in its new, permanent, premises (next door to where it was before, apparently). So, perhaps we could stagger up the hill after the curry to check it out?

Meeting in the Paxton beforehand was suggested upthread. It's the large pub with a tower like thing on the roundabout. Is it still called The Paxton?!
