Snow at Easter ?

Has it snowed this weekend where you are ? Woke up to a dusting this morning and it is still snowing lightly at 1100 ...

OH was thinking out loud "Does it snow every Easter ?" I was thinking that it was only when Easter is early ... and not every year !

I had some more gardening planned, so what shall I do instead ?

One of the BBC's weather forecasters (I think it was Helen Willets) answered, in response to a 'why is it still snowing?' question from a newscaster, that we have more snowy Easters than we have snowy Christmases.

Personally I blame vacuous commercialism - the shops have got Christmas out of the way so they need to flog us new stuff and claim that it's spring - so we need spring clothes - but it's not, it's winter.

kebabking - I only have to go the top of the garden to do that ! (but they might throw snowballs at me ...)

Pickman's model - might just do that later today, if the road stays clear (the Twice Brewed is worth the extra time, the Milecastle is closer but smaller).

In the meantime, I'm going to mooch about on the interwebs and possibly upload some more images to Ipernity.
