IT'S YOUR DECISION DANIEL
I love this channel- no 11 on Freeview.

Just watching an excellent 4 part Wu Tang Documentary called Of Mics and Men i taped off it.

Tonight there's a doc on Chevy Chase I'll watch, plus an episode of the series Urban Myths which are half hour films which is a fanciful story from a famous persons life with well known actors playing them.

Video killed the radio star is a series which are retrospectives of a band or artists music videos with the stories behind them.
Always worth a watch.

There really is something on every day which is worth a watch.

For those without Freeview, it's also available on Sky channel 122, Freesat 147, and Virgin Media 123.

There's the new David Crosby documentary on there on the 14th.

I have a massive soft spot for Crosby, some gorgeous tunes, and took drugs so I didn't have to take so many (strange nod to Spacemen 3 there). His autobiography is a great read.

I like Portrait Artist of the Year. That's on tonight at 8. I know nothing about art or painting or drawing, so anyone who does might hate it, I have no idea. It's a bit Bake Off for portrait painters. Lovely.

Guy Garvey's archive prog is good too. Live performances from the non-bbc music programmes, mainly from regional broadcasters in the 70s and 80s.
Lots of stuff on there not shown since original broadcast

The story of Anvil gets shown on there and its brilliant.

Literally a real life Spinal Tap story with a really enthusiastic, never give up vibe to it.

I've been very much enjoying Portrait Artist of the Year.

Its a bit like bake off but you can see the paintings whereas you can't taste the cakes.

Oof, on the one I'm watching right now Noel Clarke just turned up to have his portrait done

Thought there must be a thread about Sky Arts channel, found it - thank you!

6am sitting and watching a quite excellent production of Carmen with the sound up to 11. The other day I watched a slightly disturbing (and messy) production of Kafka's Metamorphosis.
They show some Tales of the Unexpected episodes (they haven't aged well) between other programmes. In the evening they often show music/musician documentaries.
It is currently our favourite freeview channel.
