They have great big floodlightsI was going to say you'd have to light the way out of the park too but they don't on bonfire night.
So you would have preferred no show at all this year then?Definitely not. It was a bizarre and stupid decision to cancel it in the first place, and rescheduling it for sep was even more fucked up.
Now you're talking!Maybe two country shows is in order?
So number of days rain is about the same but it stays lighter longer in July.
Now you're talking!
was it not about shortage of portaloos during olympics? that was reason cited for glastonbury no show iircDefinitely not. It was a bizarre and stupid decision to cancel it in the first place, and rescheduling it for sep was even more fucked up.
yes, two free festivals in brockwell please - what happened to the urban green fair, did I miss it?

Where were all the portaloos during the Olympics then?
I suppose in the big events that apparently went on in parks in east london - I virtually didn't set foot outside of brixton during those 6 weeks though so this is purely speculation
The later date this year meant a greater variety of fruit/veg could be displayed in the flower show than would normally be possible. I put some tomatoes in this year (they didn't win anything ) but in July there's normally no way they would be ripe in time. There may be some kind of farming calendar reason for the date (that is no longer relevant)??
