Should I buy this camera: CANON POWERSHOT A495

Hi All

I want to buy a digital camera as a christmas present. Trying to spend under £60. Clearly I'm not going to get a digital SLR for this price but does this look like good value.

If not, what would you suggest at the same sort of price.

Its a perfectly adequate camera at a good price, so go for it if it looks like your sort of thing.

For the same sort of price you can buy a very funky, pocket fitting, cool looking, HD video capturing FujiFilm FinePix JV100. I can only fault the lenses. Everything else works fine and easy.
