Schrodinger's Mountain

Infidel Castro

Producto Falso
It appears that Snowdon/Eryri/Yr Wyddfa is STILL simultaneously in England and in Wales, being as it is the highest peak in both of those fair countries according to nearly every description of it I read and hear (most recently on BBC R5 this am). Schrodinger's Mountain. It's a marvellous thing when you think about it. Is it unique? I don't know of any other mountains that manage this feat.

The Alps are in like... I dunno, loads of fucking countries. Stop stressing OP, it's obviously A Thing.

I remember flying over the Alps on the way to Rome and being astonished they went on for so long. Had it in my head they were sort of one mountain in width in a very long line

It is the highest mountain in the place known as England and Wales though.

Better said as England or Wales, in a way, but that just makes it sound like you don’t know which it is in.

Scafell Pike is in England. Snowdon is mostly described as being the largest mountain in England and Wales. It's in Wales, not in England. Everyone following?

Or even better start with Wales, that being the place of Snowdon. But even then it sounds ridiculous

It's probably the largest mountain on the island of Britain south of the Great Glen if you want another random claim. And the south of Scotland used to be Welsh.
