Safeguarding Officer - long shot but is anybody here trained for this role?

We're a volunteer group running a Summer Play Scheme at the adventure playground in Loughborough Junction (six Saturdays opening soon).

We urgently need to find a qualified Safeguarding Officer to be our nominated point of contact with Lambeth should any concerns arise.

If by any chance someone reading this has the necessary training and qualification and would be willing to act in this capacity for us please please get in touch.

You could do it online but it'll cost you £60 + vat

I did autism training with these people. (School paid). They are expensive but quick and recognized (accredited).

Thanks planetgeli . Good shout but they don't do Safeguarding Children Level 3, which is what the named officer has to have.
(I believe this is a real life training course and the council told me it's unlikely we'll find one running in time for any of us to become newly qualified). So seeking someone with the existing qualification.
I'm now hoping we may be able to share with the youth center next door - fingers crossed.

Safeguarding Children Level 3 Designated Officer - E-magination Training

£95.

I know that HST one doesn't say Level 3 but it kinda looks like it. I'd ask them if you get desperate but hopefully you can hop on next door's for free.
