Russia vs Sweden match thread

Away from U75
Russia captain Sergei Semak, defender Yuri Zhirkov and midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov should be OK after taking part in light training on Monday.

Playmaker Andrei Arshavin is available after serving a two-match suspension that has sidelined him at Euro 2008.

Russia coach Guus Hiddink has hinted he may use Arshavin Arshavin as a substitute as he is short of fitness.

Sweden's main worry is striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is still struggling with a swollen left knee.

Referee: Frank de Bleeckere (BEL)

Pre match news - BBC Sport

I'm not sure who'll win this do or die match, it's too close to call imo. Sweden need only a draw (or a win) to qualify, whilst for the Russians only a win will do for the potential quarter final match against the Netherlands on Saturday evening.

Yeah i've got mellberg in my team to. He's quite good, if he wasn't i doubt juventus would want him! Hoping for a sweden victory but not bothered, will be good to see arshavin back.

Anybody else having the misfortune of having to watch this on the ITV Sport website? Christ alive it's shite compared to the beeb.
