Young age really

I think for me its the Taxi Gang productions (Sly & Robbies label) which are at the heart of their tight sound, though of course they go back a lot further

... and onwards to the present day

one of my fav recent productions

First time I saw him was in Bristol in 76 or 77 in Bristol, he was with the Aggrovators backing Dennis Browns first UK tour, got to shake his hand tell him he was amazing, he just laughed - in was in one of the warehouses by the docks that are tourist beer traps now - the headliner was Big Youth, backed by Skin, Flesh and Bones where a certain Sly Dunbar was the drummer. After the gig, Youth invited everyone to the Bamboo Club for the afterparty, where I got to shake the mitt of Mr Shakespeare. Saw him many, many more times, but never so close as then. Loved him.
