RIP Terry Jones, Monty Python founder and Life of Brian director who has died aged 77

Very sad. Somehow I did not know he'd been battling dementia. Like others have said, thank you for all the laughs.

If it turns out to be a Man Upstairs, I know we can rely on Terry who slap him across the face and tell him how naughty he's been to mankind so far.

Sad to hear this. I always thought he was the most inventive, the most 'out there' of them.

Yeah, I always felt his sense of the visual meshed really well with Gilliam's to create this sense of place balanced somewhere between joyous absurdity and the dreams that come after an especially pungent cheeseboard.

RIP
The world has lost a comic genius.
I found "life of Brian" and "The meaning of life" well worth watching and the anti=ness / whinging from the religious even more funny

RIP indeed. The most likeable Python, and I include Michael 'National Treasure' Palin in that. Also (along with Idle) not as much of an Upper Class Twit as the others.
