She was fast, and always seemed to be fun.

She has died much too young, she was always fun when I saw her on Tv, I am sure she will be missed.

I'm another who didn't really know her beyond her Top Gear stints, but as others have said, she was routinely the best thing on it when she appeared. Seemed like an interesting and fun person, and clearly wicked-talented (as far as my "doesn't even drive" understanding extends ).

As ever, aside from anything else, 51 is sadly young

I just watched the Top Gear transit van episode in tribute. She was the funniest and most engaging person on that show.

I was genuinely shocked and saddened when I heard the news. Such a great driver and fun character so full of life whenever I saw her. I had no idea she was fighting cancer.

Yes, it was nice. It was very focused on her Top Gear appearances though. I'd have liked to have seen a bit more about her life. But it brought a tear to my eye a couple of times. She was clearly well respected and anyone who makes Chris Evans sick is ok in my book.
