Sad to hear this. She served my mates when they visited Seditionaries sometime in the late 70s. I had the 'Anarchy' handkerchief she handed over the counter (but lost it some time ago unfortunately.)

Met her once at the Chelsea Pot where she was having Moussaka and Chips - she was not wrong, it was the best things they did, she slagged off the Worlds End pub, full of maniacs, mainly she gossiped about the "punters" - was there with my then G/F Josie who worked at Boy, pretty much a Sedionaries rip off further up the Kings Road, they were not keen on "Croydon herberts" who clogged their shops and bought fuck all

This memorial concert reflects this and will feature live sets from The Monochrome Set, Gaye Bykers On Acid, Johnny Moped, Spizzenergi, DITZ, Bootleg Blondie, AK/DK, The Pink Diamond Revue, Monakis, Fruity Water, Peter Perrett (stripped down set) and Host John Robb.

• Early Blondie bassist Gary Valentine who wrote the music to the band’s first single ‘X-Offender‘ and their hit international single ‘(I’m Always Touched by Your) Presence, Dear‘.
• Captain Sensible who famously had a mega No.1 hit single with ‘Happy Talk‘ and Top 10 hit with the wonderful ‘Glad It’s All Over‘ as well as co-founding The Damned.
• Neal X co-founder member of the Blade Runner-esque Sigue Sigue Sputink who took the world (and beyond) by fame with their ‘Love Missile F1-11‘ and ‘21st Century Boy‘ smash hits.
