Everyone at MOJO is deeply saddened to hear that our dear friend and director Gerry Conlon died this morning.We have lost a very decent man. Gerry struggled and fought for truth and justice for himself and so many others. He touched the lives of many people. His struggle inspired so many. Our thoughts are with Gerry's family. Rest in Peace Gerry.xxxx

Didn't make 60 - and had to see his Dad die in prison. Never met him but he sounds like he was a top bloke, with all the battles he fought after release.

I asked Gerry if he thought that if DNA matching had been invented at the time of his trial he'd have been found not guilty.

He replied that even if Jesus Christ himself had been a defence witness it would have been the Guilford 5 not 4.
