I'm interested in finding an inexpensive game that features this conflict. I'm looking at this:

Ultimate General: American Revolution

American Revolution is a sandbox strategy game featuring the epic historical period during the rebellion of the American colonies against the British Empire.

The only one that springs to mind is an old Sid Meier game, Colonization. Like Civilisation, but at the end you fight the British. Very old but it's on Steam.
