Removing a Padlock Without a Key?

The Boy

danny la rouge is probably wrong.
So I need to remove a padlock which is securing a garden shed, but I do not have a key for said padlock. The best/easiest/cheapest way of removing the lock would be...?

(Both shed and lock belong to me)

Too much?

The basic options are - hit it, cut/clip it or prize/jemmy it.

You also have the option of destruction of the door/frame.

Two large screwdrivers or levers that fit inside the hook of the padlock and press together to force open the lock.
It should just pop open.
In most cases the lock will be reusable.

ETA: I have done this several times at work when people have lost locker keys.

Break the lock/staple. Or hacksaw the lock. If too hard then leaver off the whole hasp, staple and lock.

Yeah, so the shed belongs to my old flat and the buyers want it empty. So burning it down or removing the door aren't options.

I'll try the levering it off method mentioned above, and if that fails try a hacksaw.
