Recommend me a mascara

In my bid to stop overspending on masses of cheap shite that I then throw away I would like to buy a decent mascara that I will use till it's finished.

My eyelashes are quite long but there aren't as many of them as there used to be. I don't want anything that really lengthens of makes them look 'clumpy'. I once bought one called Exaggerate and it makes me look as if I have spiders on my eyes.

Any suggestions?

I usually go for cheapish ones as well, but I was quite impressed with the one I got free with a magazine - it's Boots No 7 Lash 360 degrees. I use it eery day and it's lasted ages. I think it's the shape of the brush that makes it more effective than the ones I normally buy.

It's about £11 or so.

Found this one to be quite good........the brush has a shorter side that you can get right close to the roots of your lashes !

i use the pink maybelline one and have done for ages. like you i've got long eyelashes so don't buy the elongating type. i prefer to avoid looking like a panda.

You should be able to get urban decay in boots!

But I swear by maybelline great lash in the pink bottle, I do love bad gal by benefit, but maybelline's a third of the price!

Bourjois Coup de Theatre Mascara

one end is white and the other is black (or whatever colour you choose)

you put the white on 1st then the coloured bit after a few minutes, you have lashes for days, it is lush, ive only been using it recently and i love it...

they have 4 shades but i like-
Noir Diva (black)


and of course my favourite old standby is Max Factor 2000 Calories, it has never steered me wrong and its great for daytime wear.

I so wanted to love those two, but don't think much to either of them - I think I gave the maybelline to my girl after using it once.

I try other mascaras, but always come back to l'oreal lash architect.

For day time I use No 7 intense lash, is really good and doesn't clump at all. Night time I use Bad Gal by Benefit. I have long lashes and lots of them so like to make them really stand out, but no clumps or lumps.

Used to have a wicked one from Avon but they stopped doing it.
