its been going ages, WRU said no and it went ahead- as the prince of wales cup
It was a bit of a waste of time (Ray Gravell deserves way more than this rather hasty, and not really very appropriate, commemoration), BUT the petition itself is full of some lovely comments and memories, and the organisers are going to print it up as a memorial for his family.
So, it'd be good to get to 5000 names, so still worth giving it a go.

Wales' football match against Ireland a few days before was used as a dry run for the ceremonies - they were playing things like God Save the Prince of Wales over the tannoy. It was like devolution never happened and an embarrassment to be Welsh.
