Sad news about Mark Farmer dying. Best known for playing the lead role in the early 1980s drama
Johnny Jarvis. Also played Gary Hargreaves for a number of years in Grange Hill.

Thankfully it was a different Mike Farmer.

So who's this Mike Farmer? Oh him, that kid from Grange Hill.

He was the silly boy (Justin/e) who idolised arthur in minder too.

Mark was a lovely man, who I knew a bit. Humble, smart and talented. Although i don't know the ins and outs it seemed to me as though he was a very underused resource in tv.

One of those TV shows that would have every kid at
school talking about it in the playground the next day.
