Question about a pitch tuning site

This is going to sound weird, but I've asked a handful of people to do this, and they claim they cannot. What's going on?

Can you repeatedly clap your hands so that the green dot appears but the dial and hertz reading does not change at all?

I even asked the designer of the site, and he seemed just as confused.

What are you trying to achieve or prove? Hands clapping will have a pitch (just like a drum) and the tuner may show that (or may not if too brief)..

I am trying to work out if anyone else can clap their hands without the hertz shifting or if only my handclaps are un/perfectly pitched haha

i can also do it with longer sounds, such as vocal shushing noises.

looks like the bafflement is universal... maybe it is just me ?

I can also make a green dot appear (and then disappear) by clapping. I don't think it means anything about the hertz of handclaps but rather that the microphone was triggered but no noise worthy of gibjbv a pitch to emerged.

i can do the same while it reads the same pitch, and after it has started to display hertz. can you?

nothing rides on it really, but would be awesome to know for sure.

It is an application which displays the pitch in real time.

It is a much clearer representation of what's happening with pitch over the course of a few seconds.
