You've clearly not noted the "am a bit shit" part.
AM
A BIT
SHIT
SPLITTER
It's the end of the line, I tells ye
It's home to a DIY store, a few other small shops, and people who don't like drugs and bicycles.
where can I get a latte at lunchtiime?
I had to do it, full on.
None of this "It's just Kennington, I Can Handle It" shit.
PS Where, for the love of christ, do you get a decent Latte at lunchtiime?
Adams Bakery just a few doors down from White Horse. Can't vouch of their milky drinks but I'm currently enjoying one of their tall black coffees.
Much better coffee than that internet cafe (Cafe Tana); cheaper too and much nicer staff.
so any new gossip for me?
no, they were quite busy when i went in and i was in a rush

For the record, I'd just like to state....
...oh what's the point. I wouldn't get this grief in Stoke Newington*
* Which I've never lived in, but am using for comedic effect.

oh go on, state
I'm going to the pub so I may get a laugh on my return
not just me then? I've found the people in Tana very offputting. Not tried t'other one.
, unlike certain other parks in South London.
And then there is the country fair.
ignoring all the chatter - i never fancied brixton itself (too noisy) but living in the immediate vicnity is fab. you should try herne hill for restaurants: i'm tolf lombok is a great thai, cafe prov (opposite the park) has a lovely atmosphere, but most of all, Number 22 is a posh tapas place which has no equal anywhere else in south london for flavour and atmosphere and cocktails and general quality.
btw, the big road sign on the hill is cos that's a major arterial out of town - no, really. It also goes through the interminable hinterlands of streatham and the slower, ever slower, through croydon and purley until it speeds up.
And when you have been here long enough you too can have the pleasure of knowing that you aren't a mere arriviste like teuchter who still hasn't worked out that the Lambeth Country Show is not called the Lambeth Country Fair
Are you pissed Spangle, your typing seems to have gone a bit funny/skewith
yeah - almost two bottles of wine down. since i'm not pregnant yet, i may as well make the most...
Yet? I take it you're trying then?
yeah, trying. excitedly.
