The journey time was 5hr 45 mins from London back then - it hasn't really sped up all that much with trains now taking 4hr 56mins to 5hrs 07m.

The GWR's first motor bus services started in 1903, and Sir James Inglis would appear to have been general manager until his death in 1911, so the two posters over his name would date from that era. Joseph Wilkinson (picturesque Wales poster) was GM from 1896 to 1903
