Old skool fans may remember a rare FA Cup trip to the seaside not ruined by the football at Herne Bay. Sadly it sounds like the club is in a bit of bother.

They’re essentially gone. Six points back and two left to play. Could survive on GD but that’s a 100/1 shot.

Their final two games are away to Wingate & Finchley tomorrow, then home to leaders Bishop's Stortford (who may already be confirmed as champions) next weekend. Kingstonian play away to Cray Wanderers (5th) tomorrow, then at home to Hornchurch (2nd) next weekend. A pair of one goal wins produces the necessary swing in goal difference if Ks lose both theirs by the odd goal. It's a long shot now but those odds will get much shorter if tomorrow's results go in their favour.
