Sounds like the Hungerford Chairman is inheriting one heck of a mess. Strange the departing Chairman doesn't seem to think subsidising the club by £30k in February could endanger the club but bunging in a few quid more over the remainder of the season would.

Further proof that attendances and budgets rarely correlate at this level of football.

Overspending on the agreed budget? Surely not! They also had two Saturday home games plus a midweek game during February, so it's not as if there were cash flow problems caused by lack of home fixtures.
