No alcohol on teraces v. Guiseley

Dulwich Mishi

Old Skool Terrace Dinosaur-embracing the new-veau!
R.I.P.
Just reminding everyone, as per Football Association regulations, NO ALCOHOL is permitted to be drunk within the ground during FA Trophy matches.

You can still drink in the bar, but no alcohol at all is allowed inside the ground.

Please spread the word, as don't waste your time moaning about this on here. all the moans have been heard many times, our hands are tied by the Football Association.

Thank you.

It will be utter chaos in the bar - and lots of pissed off punters - if we get a crowd anywhere near the size of the one today. Stupid fucking FA twats.

It might not be a bad thing, today was like a fucking cocktail party. Big crowds are a great thing but not if half of the people behind the goal are just there to chingwag and agnore the football. Short arses like myself are suffering.

Way too difficult getting a bevvy from the bar today and reverted to Sainsbugs for 2nd half bifters. But what a great problem for the club to have... Truly unbelievable attendance and weirdly way above what anyone could surely have expected, given it wasn't fuelled by a massive Maidstone-esque away following or end of season crescendo or pay-what-you-like charity event etc. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't a reaction to the news the mayor was in town. I'll be getting the cans in next week though for sure (drinking them well away from pitchside view of course!) and jumping to the railings early doors to see above the heads of all the lovely new young people who seem to be so much taller than me! - Oh and the Caldecourts :) Join us EDC!

There's a knock on effect afterwards too. The bar was packed, so was the Cherry Tree and EDT, even the Picturehouse bar. In the end I got a couple of bottle of wine* and went home.

* not all for me.

Amazing really, what a benefit for the local businesses.

It'll be interesting if any drumming comments come up on the EDF after today. I have to say the Enfield fans under the cover were very good, no stupidity and with the excption of the "tits, fanny and towners" their songs were OK too.

Yup, thought the Enfield fans were great.

We went to the Cherry Tree and immediately headed back out for the train. Mayhem in there.

A problem easily fixed with appropriate footwear.

With Enfield's average home gate just 341, they brought a decent following to the game. Hamlet's now stands at a huge 1,202. Our smallest attendance (555) is bigger than 17 of the league's biggest gates.

A good crowd at Hampton too. The Isthmian is getting popular

Yes good crowd (808 against 676 last season on Easter Monday) at Hampton for a local derby. H&RB were 0-1 down until the 78th minute But Kingstonian had a player sent off and Hampton obviously took full advantage as they ran out 3-1 winners. Otherwise we might have been 4 points clear. Ho hum.

It was busy, but tbh it died down quite quickly as a fair few people prob moved on when they saw the initial queue. Fire alarms meant it was more busy than it would be have been otherwise I reckon.

Sounds like our decision to go straight to the ice hockey after the game was a good idea! It can take a while to get served in the 'Tree at the best of times.

I'd think that most people suspect that you're something of a monumental desperate-to-troll buffoon at times, you know.

And you're overly precious about the things you like. At least I didn't get threatened with a ban though.
