I used it a few times after seeing it posted on the old family photos thread, and it's pretty amazing. How it knows where skin should be, and bricks, leaves, etc... It isn't perfect but it's really quite amazing.

I did this as a test.

But it's not real. It's not "enhancement".

You're simply looking at a photo which has been changed.

It is not - magically - a more accurate version of the original scene.
 
I've been using similar software to uprez some old (but still relevant) tutorial videos I have. It's making something that would otherwise be practically unusable into something worthwhile. Only problem, the process takes huge resources. Converting each 3 minute clip is taking between 8-12 hours on a supped-up PC!
