Motorbike Test

Rosemary Jest

Wrong and Unstable
Hi all, I'm thinking of doing my motorcycle test this year to get it out of the way as I've fancied a big ish bike for a while now.

I've ridden 125's in the past and cycle every day, so I don't think I'll have too much trouble passing (hopefully!) as my road awareness is fairly ok.

I'm a bit confused about the modules etc as I know things have changed fairly recently. Has anyone got any advice on how to make a start and what kind of training is recommended? When do you need to take the theory etc?

Any experiences would be very welcome!

I think you need to do your test on a 400cc to be unlimited after you passed, whereas 125cc gives you a restricted licence.

Please recheck I was just replying as I'm bored near end of my shift at work :)

The U turn is the only difficult part of the test IMO&E as it's pot luck as to what road you'll do it on so camber and potholes could come into play.
